This week at SUU has been a fun one. (Most weeks tend to be that way). Anyway, this week has been Founders Week. It may sound a little boring to you, however I can tell you that it is completely awesome and a lot of fun. Learning about the history of your school and how far it’s come can really change the way you think and feel about it. SUU was started from humble beginnings and it has grown to be the Best in the West.
Today was a lot of fun. All the students on campus were given the opportunity to eat free lunch at 3 different areas and then have cake at the library. Along with the food, each station had some Alumni’s talking about each of the steps that the founders of our school had to take, as well as giving us a paper. This paper was a passport, and if you went to every station and got your paper stamped, you got the opportunity to get entered into a drawing for some really cool SUU paraphernalia.
The rest of the week is full of fun things to do as well so I am excited to see what else is going to happen!
Here are some pictures from the day

Another food stop where they had nachos! This is me and one of the Alumni’s who spoke about SUU’s beginnings.

Another food stop by the Old Sorrel statue. The paper I’m holding is the passports I talked about earlier.
