If you are anything like me, you need breaks, and you need them often. It’s the only thing that keeps you sane between school, work, and other stuff you’ve got going on.
Wether it’s a quick stroll down the hall or uploading a picture to instagram/facespace/twitta, you’ve gotta take time to chill, or as an extremely intelligent mentor of mine once told me “You’ve got to take time to sharpen your axe.” (Insert lumberjack competition parable here.)
As of recent, my most favorite “break” is driving up Cedar Canyon, because it is B-E-A-utiful.
Here’s proof.
Have I been up there at least four times this week? Yes. Am I mad about it? Nope.
I like trees. I like mountains. Neature is neat.
All I’m saying is that you need to make sure you MAKE time to do stuff YOU want to do. Even if it is watching three episodes of White Collar in a row and stuffing your face with Baked Cheetos (don’t ask.)
Here’s to a great start to a new week!
